Introduction:
Sometimes it takes just one great idea to make your business
profitable. In many instances it can be the sole difference between
success and failure. This report contains 50 profitable ideas you can
use to add more profits to your bottom line. Please study each one
carefully and choose the idea(s) that will best improve your particluar
situation.
1. The "Ex-Employee" Idea
The "Bonus: A secret, uncensored interview from an ex-(business name)
employee..." idea tells your prospects they will get inside tips or
strategies to gain their desired benefit from someone that worked
behind scenes. To make your prospects even more curious you could keep
his/her identity a secret and tell them it's the first interview they
have ever done. Tell them after listening/reading this interview they
will be shocked and will look at their situation in a whole new
perspective.
2. The "JV Application" Idea
The "apply to this incredible, closed door joint venture
opportunity..." idea tells your prospects that you are taking
applications for them to join your affiliate program for your next
product launch. Tell them all the applications will go through a
screening process and everyone will not be accepted. People will want
to promte your product because it sounds like there won't be a lot of
competition. Just don't make the application too long or they won't
take the time to fill it out because most marketers get tons of JV
offers everyday.
3. The "Bonus Survey" Idea
The "if I hear enough of you are interested, I'll put together a bonus
package for it..." idea tells your prospects if enough of them want to
buy a particular product through your affiliate link you will give them
a personal bonus. You could even ask or survey them to see what kind of
bonus package they would be interested in. Why go to the trouble of
creating an affiliate bonus if no one is interested in the main product
and/or your bonus package.
4. The "First Day" Idea
The "get your $(no.) discount when you order on (date)..." idea tells
your prospects that they can save some money if they order on the first
day of your upcoming product launch. You can just give them a coupon
code they can use on your shopping cart. You can even give them a good
reason why you are being so generous on the first day of your product
launch like it's a holiday, birthday, anniversary for you or your
business, etc.
5. The "Commission Back-Up" Idea
The "make money even if they don't buy..." idea tells your prospects
that if they join your affiliate program they can make money on your
product or when people complete a certain action. You could pay your
affiliates for the amount of people they send to your squeeze page. For
example, earn $27 per sale and $1 per sign up.
6. The "Total It Up" Idea
The "for (no.) years/months I've helped over (no.) people and counting
(your product's benefit)..." idea tells your prospects that you've
added up the years you've been in business and the number of customers
you've had total during that time period. People will see how good your
track record is and they may want to be one of those happy customers
you've helped through the years.
7. The "Before It's Banned" Idea
The "hurry, purchase (your product name or type) before it's banned..."
idea tells your prospects that if they want to buy your product and
gain their desired benefits they better hurry before someone tries to
remove it from the market place. You could say that it's so powerful
your "normally faithful" joint venture partners won't even promote it
because it could put them out of business.
8. The "Ethical And Moral" Idea
The "we only use ethical strategies..." idea tells your prospects that
your product will gain their desired benefit using legitimate,
moralistic, credible and righteous methods. Most people aren't into
using products that are immoral, unethical, sneaky, deceptive, naughty,
etc. to improve their life. If your competion is using those dirty
types of products you could compare your business and product to theirs
like: good verses evil, right verses wrong, etc.
9. The "Not, Not, Not" Idea
The "this is not (something commonly known to gain the benefit your
product offers)..." idea tells your prospects that your product isn't
what they think it might be and they will have to purchase it to find
out because you aren't going to tell them up-front and give away your
secret. You could even list multiple "not's" like for a money making
product: this is not stuffing envelopes, this is not mlm, this is not a
chain letter, etc.
10. The "Private Review" Idea
The "Bonus: A Product Review Directory..." idea tells your prospects
that if they purchase your product they can get access to your private
product review web site. Tell your prospects that they can post, read
and discuss products reviews that are related to them gaining related
or similar desired benefits as your product offers.
11. The "100% Split" Idea
The "100% commission - (no.)% now and (no.)% after the (no.) day
guarantee has expired..." idea tells your prospects if they promote
your product they will get 100% commission as long as your customers
keep your product. You can always make money from building your list
with a squeeze page, with a one-time offer or a back-end product. It
entices your prospect to join your affiliate program with 100%
commissions and protects your profits in case of a refund.
12. The "True Price" Idea
The "they challenged me to offer (your product name) for $(no.)/free
and I surprised them by accepting it..." idea tells your prospects
there is a legitimate reason or a true story behind why your product
offer is so low of a price. They won't think it's cheap because your
product is junk or your business really needs the money. People don't
like to purchase from businesses they think are in financial trouble or
won't be around soon because the offer is so unbelievable and very low
priced.
13. The "Quick Buck" Idea
The "I have had at least (no.) customers tell me they made (no.) sales
in less than (no.) hours/days..."..." idea tells your prospects that if
they purchase your product they may make some quick cash by joining
your customer-only affiliate program. You can even post those customers
reports/comments on your sales letter as they come in. Also, mention
your price will raise soon and it will be a little harder to make those
affiliate sales if they don't buy your product and join now.
14. The "E-mail Command" Idea
The "(your e-mail subject line) (Open Now)..." idea tells your
prospects that you are giving them a direct command to read your e-mail
messages. Sometimes people respond quicker to direct commands because
they'll think that your message might be important. Other e-mail direct
commands you could use are (Read this now, Don't ignore this, Stop and
View this, etc.)
15. The "Invisible Time" Idea
The "the bonus will be removed on (date) and I'm not telling you the
exact time that day I'm doing it..." idea tells your prospects if they
want the bonus product they need to buy your product before that date
to ensure they don't miss it. You could also keep a price increase a
mystery on a certain date. Another idea would be to say it's going to
increase between two certain dates.
16. The "Prevent The Bad" Idea
The "if you knew something bad was going to happen, you would do
everything possible to prevent it, right?..." idea tells your prospects
that your product might stop something awful that could happen to them,
their family members, their friends, their co-workers, their business,
etc. It will really grab your prospects attention. It could be a health
problem, a financial crisis, a weather disaster, a life threatening
accident, a harmful addiction, relationship controversy, etc.
17. The "Get It Over With" Idea
The "order today and get it over with..." idea tells your prospects
that eventually in the future thay are going to have up to here with
there particular situation and order your product anyway to gain their
desired benefit. It will start to make sense to them not to wait till
next week, next month or next year to solve their problem with your
product. Especially if there problem is starting to really bother
them and it's constantly on their mind.
18. The "Live Proof" Idea
The "at a live (no.) day event he/she (your product's/affiliate
product's benefit)..." idea tells your prospects that one of your
customers or the product owner of the product you are promoting
received the product's benefit in front of a live audience. You can
even list the testimonials of the audiences members as undeniable
proof. People will assume the product must be good if you or they were
brave enough to prove the product works before a live audience.
19. The "Improvement" Idea
The "my product will improve (another popular product)..." idea tells
your prospects that your product will help them get their desired
benefit better from a widely-used, already branded product. They may
want to buy your product and combine it with the popular product to
reach their intended goal easier, faster, cheaper, instantly, etc.
20. The "All In The Name" Idea
The "(your crazy business/product name)...I'll explain the name in a
little bit..." idea tells your prospects that you are going to tell
them the story on how you came up with your weird/ unusual/wacky
business or product name. You just want the story to persuade them to
purchase your product. If your story is funny or entertaining people
are far more likely to be influenced when they are in a good mood.
21. The "Fits Anyone's Budget" Idea
The "buy it straight out for $(full price) or for 3 easy payments of
$(lower price) or for 4 easy payments of $(an even lower price),
etc..." idea tells your prospects they can afford your high priced
product all they have to do is pick their budget. You could offer up to
10 easy payment plans if you want to make the monthly payment price
super low. You could also tell your prospects they are getting access
to your full product up-front for 1/10 the cost. People will see that
anyone could afford it so they'll likely order now before it sells out.
22. The "New Version Bonus" Idea
The "Bonus: (your product name) New Version (no.)..." idea tells your
prospects that you are offering a brand new version to a product that
they may have already bought from you in the past or they missed buying
it the first time your sold it. They can actually get it as a bonus for
buying the new or main product you are currently selling. The new
version, bonus product could contain new updated information,
additional benefits, extra features, add on attachments, etc.
23. The "New Born" Idea
The "Bonus: my recently beta-tested, upcoming (type of product)
release..." idea tells your prospects that if they purchase your
current product they will get your unreleased product that just came
out of the testing phrase. You can tell them the type of and amount of
benefits your beta testers already received from your product.
24. The "Dissection" Idea
The "dissection of (a way to gain their desired benefit)..." idea tells
your prospects that your product will break down step by step, piece by
piece, part by part of how to reach their goal. People like products or
product instructions that are simple to understand and easy to use. It
won't overwhelmed them all at once like some products they may have
gave up on in the past did.
25. The "Interview Gift" Idea
The "Bonus: An interview with (famous person or expert in your
niche)..." idea tells your prospects that they can read, listen or view
an interview that you conducted that will help them improve their life.
You can list testimonials from people who benefitted from the interview
and people that may have compared you as a famous interviewer because
you got so much juicy information from the interviewee.
26. The "Hazzard" Idea
The "warning don't (read, listen too, watch) this and drink (coffee,
beer, etc) at the same time..." idea tells your prospects that your
sales message is really powerful, important or could be hazardous to
their health. People will want to see why you would tell them not to do
something they may normally do while in front of the computer.
27. The "Sales Crush" Idea
The "we sold over (no.) (your product) in less than (no.) hours..."
idea tells your prospects that if they didn't purchase your product
they better now or you may sell out soon. You can tell them you
initially predicated you'd sell out on a certain date but now you think
it will be way sooner and you are going to crush your sales goal.
28. The "Fast Date" Idea
The "it increases (no.) cents per hour and on (date) it will start
increasing (no.) cents per half hour..." idea tells your prospects that
your dime/nickel sale product will start going up higher in price and
faster on a certain date. If they want a chance to buy the product or
promote the sale to their own prospects for commission, they better do
it before the increase date.
29. The "Compliment Launch" Idea
The "I wanted to collect some testimonials before the official
launch..." idea tells your prospects that you are releasing a new
product on a certain date and they are getting the first chance to buy
it. It will make them feel they are special, you trust them and they
will have an earlier advantage over other people. You can't make them
give you testimonials but they will be aware you need them and you will
be able to test your sales message and make money before your official
launch.
30. The "Comment Contest" Idea
The "I'm giving $(no.) for the (best, most informative, etc.)
comment/post..." idea tells your prospects that if they leave a message
about a certain subject on your message board, forum or blog they could
win some money. Of course, your advertisements would be on those pages
so you could make some sales. Also, if you don't want to give away
money you could give one of your products as a prize instead.
31. The "Twisting" Idea
The "I had to nearly twist his/her arm off to get this discount for
you..." idea tells your prospects that you are exaggerating about how
hard it was for you to negotiate with another product owner this
special deal. People will get a clearer image of what you went through
for them and that may persuade them to buy the discounted product.
Other exaggerated ideas could be you had to almost shove needles under
their finger nails or bribe them with a new computer.
32. The "Dream Benefit" Idea
The "E-mail subject line: you just (your product's benefit) in (no.)
hours/weeks/days..." idea tells your prospects a major benefit they
want to get in their life. You just ask them in the e-mail if they
would want to hear that line for real. You just need to persuade them
that your product can give them that particular benefit.
33. The "Half Way" Idea
The "aren't you tired of products that only go half way..." idea tells
your prospects that in order to gain their full desired benefit they
need to have a product that will give them everything they need to
reach their goals. Of course, you would need to tell them why your
product will do that. Also, your product could provide motivational
information that psychologically moves people to follow through with
all the steps it takes, with any product, to fully improve their life
instead of only doing things half way. For example, people who use a
certain diet/nutrition plan to lose weight but never do the exercise
part; this plan tells them to do that too.
34. The "Competition Slayer" Idea
The "my competition uses unethical marketing tactics..." idea tells
your prospects that your competition may try to persuade them to buy
their junky products using sneaky tricks. You just need to influence
your prospects to protest or boycott buying products and businesses
that use questionable/misleading marketing strategies. Tell them if
they can put those type of businesses out of business than they will
have more legitimate businesses to purchase from. Of course they may
buy your product too because they will see that you are a respectable
business.
35. The "Rags To Riches" Idea
The "he/she went from (a negative situation) to (a positive
situation)..." idea tells your prospects in one line how your product
could improve their life. For example, John went from digging ditches
to a million dollar a year business. Plus people like rag to riches,
obstacles to success and negative to positive happy ending types of
stories. They will actually place their self in the story and persuade
themselves to buy your product.
36. The "Top Earner" Idea
The "(expert's name) clients pay him/her more money than any other
(type of profession) I know of..." idea tells your prospects that the
owner of the affiliate product you are promoting gets paid more than
any other expert in his niche. You could even tell them how much they
made the year before. Your prospects will want to buy because if
he/she's the best at what they do than their product is likely the best
too.
37. The "Walk The Talk" Idea
The "I'm not a full-time professional speaker, I make most of my money
from helping people (your product's benefit)..." idea tells your
prospects that you practice what you preach and you are not up there
teaching them things you've never actually done. It tells your
prospects they should consider buying your product because you are
actually qualified to give that type of expertise.
38. The "Costume Party" Idea
The "check out this free video of me wearing this ridiculous clown
costume..." idea tells your prospects that they may get a laugh out of
seeing you dressed up funny. It will grab their attention and they will
be curious to see what kind of message or offer you will be presenting
them with in a clown costume. If you are entertaining enough they may
buy your product even if they don't really need it.
39. The "Forum Controversy" Idea
The "(person's name) just insulted me on a popular (or forum name)
forum saying that I'm a/my product is (negative name/insult)..." idea
tells your prospects that there is a bit of contervorsy going on about
you or your product in a highly visited forum. Of course the
person/expert may have said something good just about you or your
product and insulated you because you were keeping it to yourself for
so long or something like that. You can just post your defensive
response and the other postings from the particular forum list (with
people's permission) on you own forum or blog. People will click over
to see what your response was and see your signature file with your
product ad on it or other ads you have posted on the page.
40. The "Candy Order" Idea
The "when you click on the order form you can see (something that would
persuade them to click onto it)..." idea gets your prospects curious as
to what is on your order form even if they may not be ready to order.
It will at least get them one step further in the order process
which makes them take a positve physical ordering action. It
could be that you have more testimonials listed, reveal the author of
your mystery testimonial, reveal the mystery bonus that is on the sales
page, reveal to them how long you've had your merchant/third party
payment account with builds credibility and show them you're not a fly
by night business, etc.
41. The "Time Release" Idea
The "my product will be for sale for only (no.) hours on (date) between
(time) and (time) (time zone) tomorrow...strategy tells your prospects
that there will only be a time released opening when they can actually
purchase your new product. You could also do it a couple days a week
and open and re-open at certain times during each day. Just post a time
schedule on your web site or sales letter. You could also give your
affiliates the times so they can mail it out during those times of the
week. The time-released product launch can create a lot of urgency and
make you a ton of sales in a short amount of time.
42. The "Grant The Wish" Idea
The "have you said to yourself, I wish (a benefit they want your
product offers)..." idea tells your prospects to say yes, I've wished
that because they likely have if they are even reading your sales
letter. For example, I wish I could lose 20 pounds, I wish I could win
the lottery, I wish I was younger looking, etc. Just make sure you can
prove your product will grant the wishes you give them in your sales
letter.
43. The "Free Launch" Idea
The "my new product launches on (date),(time) and the first (no.)
people that order will get it for free..." idea tells your prospects
that if they are one of the lucky early birds that order that you will
refund their purchase. It will motivate people to try to order right at
the very beginning of your launch. Just make sure you have enough
bandwidth because tons of people will be hitting their refresh button
over and over about 5 to 10 minutes before your launch to get a jump on
everyone else.
44. The "What They're Saying" Idea
The "check out what people are saying about it on the popular
forums..." idea tells your prospects that there is a positive buzz
about your new product in all the major forums that are in your niche.
You could post the messages on your web site (with permission) or send
them directly to the multiple forum discussion threads. There are even
forums that have product Review sections.
45. The "Gift Idea" Idea
The "it's a better gift idea than (a flawed gift)..." idea tells your
prospects that your product is an excellent gift idea and it's not the
same old, boring, blemished gift everyone else always gives. For
example, ugly ties, one size fits all clothes/socks/gloves that never
fit right, a box of meat and cheese/jelly they always re-gift to
someone else, etc.
46. The "Then And Now" Idea
The "a lot of people have asked me why I don't sell (a type of
product)..." idea tells your prospects the reason you didn’t sell
a certain product in the past (too expensive for people, not enough
demand, etc) but now because of the interest and high demand you'll
start selling it. Your prospects will see that you listen to what they
say and take the time to make them happy at all costs.
47. The "Big Niche Word" Idea
The "the most powerful word in (your niche) is (the word)..." idea
tells your prospects a persuasive word that you will use to relate to
why they should purchase your product. For example, the most powerful
word in the wine business is 'taste'; before our new wine even hits the
bottles it's tested by over 100 professional taste testers.
48. The "Unknown Affiliate" Idea
The "there is only (no.) days left for the affiliate contest and you
won't believe who is in first place ..." idea tells your prospects they
should go check out your affiliate program contest blog and see who
might surprise them. If it's an unknown super affiliate new people may
even sign up to your affiliate program and current affiliates may try
harder to win your contest thinking they still have a shot.
49. The "List Compliment" Idea
The "thanks, you have put me in first place..." idea tells your
prospects that tons of people on your list bought the affiliate product
you were promoting. You can mention to your prospects the product owner
actually gave your list a compliment because so many of them bought
his/her product. For example, he/she said, my list is very responsive
and intelligent, they take action and are real winners. It may motivate
more people on your list to buy because people like compliments.
50. The "Free Physical" Idea
The "grab my free (type of physical information product)..." idea tells
your prospects that you will mail them a free cd/DVD/report/book and
all they will have to do is pay shipping and handling. To make a profit
you can sell back-end products on the actual free information product
or on the upsell on your order form. Another idea would to be to offer
them free consulting if they order your free information product. When
they call for their free advice you can sell them something at the end
of the call.
Conclusion:
Of course, there are some important things to keep in mind. All 50
ideas above aren't compatible with every type of business. Even if you
think a certain idea won't work with your particular business sometimes
adding your own unique twist to the idea can work in your targeted
niche. Never be afraid to try out, test, search for and experiment with
new ideas. Once you find the right one(s) you won't have to worry about
your profits again.
